January...The start of a New Year

Thought for the day
"You need the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, the courage to change the things you can, and wisdom to know the difference" -Reinhold Niebuhr

*These are some statements I got from a class I took a while back. I filed the paper away, I found it today. it is still January, so I thought I would share it (actually there doesn't need to be a certain date to set goals, but you know how big everyone is on January and setting Goals!)

Goals need to be:
A. Stated in the Positive
B. Specific
C. List all the steps of how you will attain your goal, one step at a time
D. A Good fit with your lifestyle
E. You will need to have a good Attitude
F. Within your control

You may have anything you want in life; provided that you....
1. Know exactly what you want
2. Want it badly enough
3. Confidently expect to attain it
4. Are persistantly dertimined to attain it
5. Willing to pay the price of attainment

Take it one step at a time, One day at a time...
Having a clear picture of what you want;
moves you to do what is nessisary to
achieve your desired outcomes.
That is what Motivation is all about.
Knowing exactly what you want;
And wanting it strongly enough
That you will do what it takes to acheive it.
Keep your dreams in view, and you can change your world too.
One day your dream will become a reality.

Hi! Thanks for your comment on my blog. Sorry I'm just getting back to you; I was out of town. To add the Header to your blog you need to:

1. Click on Header and bring it up in the bigger file.
2. Right click your mouse and select save. Save it to your computer.
3. You can now open the header and add any words to it using your own software. If you do this remember to save it again.
4. Log into your Blog and select 'customize' at the top right hand side.
5. Under the Navbar, select the edit header.
6. This will bring up a new window. You can upload your new header here. Remember to save!

I hope that helps you out! Have a great day!
