Michael's 17th birthday

Today is Michaels 17th birthday February 26th 2009.



For his birthday, he got lots of clothes, some are pictured here,
a star wars poster, a gas card, a walmary gift card, a huge package of batteries just to name a few
We went out to dinner at Cafe Rio and then to a movie.


Here is a list of interesting facts and things we love about Michael


1. Michael was born at 8:11am and weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces
2. Michael would not let any one call him Mike, until his Aunt Leda married "Uncle Mike"
3. Michael is known by his friends and Teachers as "Mike", his family as Michael
4. Michael still plays with Lego's and action figures and Transformers (anything Star wars)
5. Michael makes up the silliest things and is the life of the party
6. Michael quotes movie lines in the same voice as the movie (he is an awesome Gullum) and Nacho Libre
7. Michael uses body movements like Jack Sparrow. I think he is a pirate sometimes!
8. Michael owns all the Star Wars Movies and can tell you anything you want to know about it.
9. Michael Couldn't hear very well as a child because of constant ear infections
10Michael chooses not to hear very well now, it's called selective hearing!
11Michael learned to play the bagpipes in 6 months, and taught himself how to play songs such as the Star Wars theme song (of course!)
12Michael made his first honor roll this past term, good job Mike!
13Michael doesn't like re-warmed up food in the microwave
14Michael is so attached to a blankie Grandma Healey made, he still sleeps with it!

37Michael is sick every day, he always has a headache and a stomach ache, for the past 3 or 4 years, and it's hard for him to eat certain foods.

these are just some of the things that make Michael who he is...Funny story about Michael, when he was 6 years old, he liked to dress up in pirate pants, a white t-shirt and cowboy boots, he coaxed Weston and Zachary to help him make gold, so he could be rich. they were eager to help, even though Weston was 8! They gathered rocks and washed them, dried them, and painted them gold. Weston was the painter, Zac was the rock finder and washer, and Michael supervised the project, they played with that gold for a long time. I finally threw the last of it away 2 years ago when we moved, they kept it all that time, I wish I hadn't thew it away now and kept a piece to put in my remembrance box.



Michael played the king in the High School production of Once upon a Mattress in Nov 2008
