Lets Go Fly A Kite

We have been having quite the stormy weather lately. Rain every day, sometimes most of the day long. Sometimes the sky looks clear and within 15 minutes it is grey and pouring rain. the nice thing is we have not had to run our sprinklers, sad thing is that is hailed on Sunday,, and it ruined my cucumbers! I am not sure if my squash is going to make it either, so we will see.

Monday night it had dried out enough to mow the lawn. Aubrie wanted to take this job over this job while Zac is gone, so it was like mowing through a Forrest of grass because of all the rain. She would mow up a strip and then have to empty the bag! It was a good thing that our garbage day was on Tuesday, because our can was overflowing with grass.

Along with the rain, it has also been windy, great kite flying weather. The other day our neighbors trampoline flew over the fence and landed in the other neighbors back yard! these pictures were taken the evening before Zac left. He is trying to help Aubrie fly her trick kite. you can make it dive, and do flips and tricks. It was almost too windy to fly it, but they had fun
