You know with all the trials we have in life, with all the struggles and hardships and heartaches, it is easy to look at someone Else and think they have it made. It is so easy to look at their trials and think they are easier than the ones you are dealing with. There is an old Native American saying that talks about moccasins and so here is my thoughts on that..."You never know the burdens in someones life until you walk a mile in his moccasins, and you are glad to give them back after just a short distance! And are thankful to put your moccasins back on!"I have been reminded of this so many times. This last week we had a little neighbor boy get hit by a car, he is ok, but it is a mile in a moccasin I am glad I didn't have to walk! I think also that the Lord knows what we can handle and what will help to build our character. There are so many times in life when I wonder why a certain thing has happened to me, and sometimes I can look back and be grateful that I went through that particular trial, for the strength I gained for it, and then there are some trials that repeat over and over trying to see the lesson to be learned! anyway I am thankful to count my blessings!
This week has gone by so quickly, just like all the other weeks previously! This is the "hump" of summer, mid July means that Summer is 1/2 way over and that school is just around the corner.

We had the opportunity to get out of town this weekend for a day and a half. We took our niece Nicole with us, It was so relaxing just to slow things down. Tim and I played Phase 10 for 4 rounds just to see who the best player really was! Come to find out we both were! I won 2 games and Tim won 2, so I guess I really have found my match! While Tim was fishing, the girls and I went swimming in the lake we were at It was fun for them. Something funny that happened to me was that I let Tim put the sunblock on my back before I went into the water, Later that night my back felt kind a sun burnt, so I looked in the mirror and it is so funny, you can see his hand marks and where he applied and where he didn't! I guess it is a testimony that you are only safe if the "whole" area is covered!
We heard from both Zac and Weston today. Zac is feeling better and Weston is getting sick again. They are having fun. Weston got to go to Avalon on Saturday to watch Harry Potter and hang out on that side of the island. Zac gets to go this coming up Saturday. Zac moved into another cabin, he has really struggled with his room mate, he has ADHD really bad, and it has made Zac really crazy! (Zac said he thinks the mother sent this boy to camp to have a peaceful summer to herself!!) They are going to send me their SD cards this week so that I can add more pictures on their blog.
