The week of Aug 9-16

Well We had the most enjoyable and relaxing vacation. We went to a cabin in the mountains for the week. Aubrie and I hiked 4 miles each day. the first 20 minutes being uphill! My calves feel like they are very tight and 5 inches bigger circumference! We had my niece Stephanie and her husband Daniel and my Grand Niece Heather up with us for a few days. It was fun to have them there with us. It was also Tim and mine Anniversary 17 years Wow! I cannot believe it has gone so quickly. Tim surprised me with 2 dozen long stem roses in a beautiful glass vase. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband as Tim. He is my bestest friend ever! My soul mate and a wonderful husband and father. On Saturday Michael and his special Friend Anna and her sister Kate came up and spent two days with us, as well as Tim's dad and Josie also. It was fun to play our candy bar game with them.

(quick explanation, everyone brings a candy bar and puts it in the middle of the table. you have 2 dice, if you roll a 7, 11 ,or doubles you can pick any candy bar from the pile. You hide it in a brown paper bag. It goes around the table until all the candy bars are gone, then you set the timer for like 15 minutes. You then continue to roll but the fun part is now you can steal candy bars away from people, If you roll a 7, 11, or double you can ask any person for a certain candy bar. you have to be correct, cause if you are wrong and they do not have it, you have to give them one of yours in your bag. It is a memory game really! anyway at the end of the game we always share the candy and make sure everyone gets one,)

It was sad to have to come home, except for the fact that we get to pick up Weston and Zac from the airprot today! yeah!
