Here Comes Christmas!

Tonight as I write this, the snow is falling very gently on the ground, and it is very beautiful! We have all been busily running around in preparations for Christmas. I think I have the most presents under the tree. My husband loves to surprise me and shower me with gifts, which is OK, except I would rather him save the money and pay off bills! I guess every marriage has to have a practical person, to take all the fun from the free living, person! Anyway Tim surprised me with a beautiful new Christmas sink, the other day and a new faucet. My sink for the past 3 years is a very shallow, 6 inch sink, if you put a few dishes in it, it is overflowing! it is so shallow, you cannot even put a pot under it! this new sink is HUGE! It is very deep and it is very wide. I love it! The faucet is a long neck with a sprayer on it so if you turn it upside down, it turns into a drinking fountain! I have really struggles with my neck, back and shoulders. I was hit on the 11th of this month, read that blog entry for details, but I am still suffering with whiplash. I sure hope that homeless man gets frost bite on his hands for not wearing the gloves I gave him! (see Rear ended ..Bummer entry) I Love the Christmas Season, and wish that more emphasis was put on Christ instead of Santa. Santa is important, cause he helps us remember unconditional love, even when you are naughty you still get something(even if it is just coal!) Santa also helps us to remember the gifts that Jesus gave us of Eternal life and the Atonement. I just wish that we all could remember the reason for the season more. Merry Christmas and if you get a chance read Luke 2 for the Christmas story in the Bible and then Helaman 14 and 3rd Nephi 1 and 2 in the Book of Mormon for the American continent night of his birth.

Ooo, what a cool sink! How nice of Tim, even if paying bills is more practical! Face it, the bills will get paid somehow. :)

Hope your neck and back get feeling better and that you and the family have a wonderful Christmas.
