Michael's Court of Honor was one of the most anticipated events! It was a long time coming! It was a great night. Michael had lots of family friends and ward members in attendance to support him. His Leaders have been so supportive of him through the process.
The Church was lined with American Flags
The Back drop was this Amazingly Large USA Flag. We have used this same flag with Weston's and Zachary's Court of Honors also.
Michael and his friend Ian, played Amazing Grace on their bag pipes, it was amazing to say the least!
Bishop DeGraffenried Presenting Michael with his Eagle Certificate
Michael chose his grandpas as mentors and thanked them for them for their example and support

We have a man in our ward, that hand carves wooden scout staffs. He told about why he chose this particular branch for Michael's staff. He said that this piece of wood had wood beetle in it, and it created little holes. He admonished Mike to always live righteously and not let the wood beetles of life...drugs, pornography and sin create holes in his life, and to always stay strong and keep his morals high
The Eagles Nest if for all the Eagle Scouts that are in attendance to come up and sit with all of their brothers in scouts. It is a neat thing to see all those who made it to become an eagle scout.

Mike's Uncle Darren, a chaplain in the US Army, has recently returned from Iraq. He gave a wonderful talk about our freedoms and liberties. He then presented Mike with a US flag that flew over Iraq on a combat mission, along with a certificate of authenticity
My 3 Eagle Sons!
What a honor it is to have all 3 of my sons received the Eagle Scout Rank in scouting. I am very proud of each of them. And know they will all (someday) thank me for the constant nagging of a mother trying to encourage them and help them along the way!
(notice that each of the boys were given a staff with their names carved in them by Brother Johnson)
