Fauxing (Fo/ing) My Walls

With the new floor we put it, I thought it was the ideal time to paint my front room, I was debating a dark olive green and was at the paint counter to buy it, and I changed my mind at the last Minuit. I decided to Faux my walls with a color called cup of cocoa (medium brown), it was alot cheaper to do this because I only had to buy 1 can of paint and 1 can of Faux Glaze. I used the off whit that was already on my walls as my base color and then I sponged on the brown. I tried to end it in the front room, but because my kitchen is attached I had to carry it on into my kitchen. I Think it turned out good. Our next project is to sell our couch set online and then we want a leather couch set. The sectional we had in our other home just doesn't fit in our new house. It is hard to wait until our couch sells, because I am all for instant gratification, I want it to all look put together now! With the economy the way it is I don't even dare take out a loan for the couches. It is cash or nothing! Our fridge is still on the front porch :( I was hoping it would have been put back by now, but the moldings have to be put back on and one thing at a time. I think it is great to pull everything out of your house once in a while and put it back different, it makes you feel like you have moved into a different house. I will just be grateful when we can come home from work and not have to go to "work", we can just relax.

This Saturday and Sunday is the April Bi-Annual sessions of LDS General Conference. You can go to lds.org and watch online. I am excited to hear words of counsel from a living Prophet of God. The Guys usually go to the Priesthood session together, so us girls are going to plan a date! hopefully by next week we will be more put together. Until then...Ta Ta
