Zachary's First Prom

Zachary was able to go on his first official date (which just happened to be Prom)  He was excited and nervous all at the same time.  He wasn't going to go, but was nominated to be Prom King and made it in the top 5!  So he figured that he should get a date. (4 days before prom I might add!)  The girl he asked was also in the top 5 for Prom Queen, and had not been asked out either.  (I spoke with her mom and she was worried that if she made prom queen that she would have to have her dad accompany her, so it worked out well for both of them)   We found a Tux shop that was very reasonable, and Zac decided on the long tails on his jacket.  He was worried the night of prom, that he looked dumb, but then found out lots of boys had the long tails.  He did look mighty handsome!
They had a great time, until Zac accidentally backed into something leaving a dent in our car.  It kinda ruined the rest of  his night thinking about how mom and dad would be so angry with him.  When he called to tell me, I had the Holy Ghost whisper to my mind to not over react and to express my gratitude to him that everything was alright.  I think this shocked him, because he was planning on my usual over reaction!
